Bay International Canada has successfully completed new, grassroots  construction projects, process unit revamps and upgrades, and plant turnarounds for refineries, power generation, chemical, and petrochemical facilities. 


As an employer who is well versed in the utilization of international workers both in Canada and the USA, Bay International - Canada recognizes the importance of these resources in the success of our various projects. To date, our staff have supplied over 600 International skilled trades workers to various major Oilsands Projects. Bay utilizes a combination of labor sources to fulfill the manpower requirements for our projects. Our first source of skilled workers is and will always be Canadian Journeypersons. In addition to our domestic recruitment efforts, Bay is committed to training Canadians and landed Immigrants who wish to attain Red Seal trade recognition. As well, Bay puts strong emphasis on working with Canada’s Indigenous people. Our final source of skilled workers is our International Workforce.  Due to Bay’s unique structure, we utilize foreign workers in our US, Canadian and foreign divisions. This provides a series of strategic advantages. Use of the International workers in our US operations allows for thorough evaluation of candidates ensuring only the most proficient tradesman are selected for Canada. We host our international workers at our fabrication facilities while they are working, which enables us to provide Red Seal, HSE and other training. Canadian Work Permits are processed far faster out of the US than overseas.  Due to our knowledge and experience with the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, we can confidently develop a productive, consistent foreign workforce which will benefit our clientele by assisting us in completing our scope safely on time and budget.
